Our Funding Partner

Everyday Entrepreneurs
Venture Fund

MCC has partnered with the Everyday Entrepreneurs Venture Fund (EEVF) to offer MCC students and members of our community with academic and financial opportunities to start their own business through our new Launch Your Business—Now! entrepreneurship certificate program. EEVF seed money can be used for equipment, marketing, and operating your business. Best of all, you don’t have to pay it back.

Create Your Plan

You create a business plan and funding pitch.

Readiness to present ideas to the EEVF will be determined by a student’s business plan, financial projections, and business pitch.

Funding Eligibility

Complete three required courses for eligibility.

EEVF gives preference to students completing the certificate program, or who complete three required courses—BUS 211, BUS 216, and BUS 218.

Seed Money Awards

Seed money will be awarded to students twice a year.

Grants up to $20,000 will be awarded to students twice a year. Range of grants is dependent on the volume of requests, approvals, and balance of funds.

Mentoring and Support

Upon approval, you are assigned mentors for one year.

Upon approval, entrepreneurs are assigned mentors for one year to give entrepreneurs support while they seek profitability within 6 to 12 months.
